The FS-EZC series is an automated platform supporting the Eldim EZcontrast rapid viewing angle analyzer. It assists EZcontrast in moving measurement positions and controlling measurement distances. Meanwhile, its software can control platform movement, signal switching via the signal switcher, and enable EZcontrast to perform automated testing, as well as generate reports.

System Features

Necessity of the FS-EZC Series Automated Measurement Platform:

Accurate positioning of the test object allows EZContrast to precisely align with the center of the tested LCM, and enables precise fine adjustment in X and Y directions.

Ensuring measurement accuracy: Adjust the angle of the LCM to make the LCM screen perpendicular to the EZContrast lens. Adjust the distance between the EZContrast lens and the test object to 1mm, and fine-tune the distance at intervals of 0.1mm or 0.01mm until the camera is in the sharpest focus.

Safe Operation

1. Since the measurement distance of EZContrast is approximately 1mm, the software needs to set the EZContrast XL88 to operate at different speeds in different distance segments when moving toward the tested LCM screen. The closer the distance, the slower the speed, to prevent the instrument from colliding with the tested LCM screen.
2. A laser rangefinder is required to provide real-time feedback on the distance from the lens to the surface of the tested LCM screen.
3. A sensor in front of the lens prevents the XL88 lens from colliding with the test object. When the sensor contacts the test object, it will automatically stop moving downward, but can still move upward to move away from the test object.
